The long-awaited International Sustainability Standard on Assurance (ISSA) 5000 General Requirements for Sustainability Assurance Engagements has been released. The standard from the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) is the global standard for sustainability assurance and can be applied to any sustainability standard or framework and by any assurance practitioner.
